How to Submit

Submission deadlines for our open issues are 24 May for the following May issue and 24 November for the following November issue.

Papers submitted to Convergence should be typed in double line spacing with minimum 1 inch margins, pages numbered consecutively throughout the entire manuscript, and in accordance with Sage style sheet (available on request). References in the text should be presented in the Harvard system. Please also see our Instructions for Authors for further information on referencing and house style.

Submissions may be made via email to the editors. All electronic copy must be Microsoft Word compatible, with all notes presented as endnotes and formatted manually, not using the wordprocessing footnoting option. All authors should also include on a separate sheet the following information: name, institution and address for correspondence, telephone, fax and email address, a 100-150-word abstract, up to 10 keywords and a 50-word biography of each author.

Please confirm, with every submission, that all authors have agreed to the submission and that the article is not currently being considered for publication by any other print or electronic journal. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for reproducing any illustrations, tables, figures or lengthy quotations previously published elsewhere

Owing to the vagaries of the internet, do not assume your article has been received until you have confirmation of receipt by email.

Copyright on articles published in Convergence rests with the author. Permission to reprint articles must be gained from the publishers. Such requests can be directed through the editors by email. See here for a list of FAQ’s on SAGE’s exclusive license policy.
