Call for Papers

The February and August issues each year are usually guest-edited themed issues, for which specific calls for papers are issued. For details of other forthcoming themed issues, please see the menu bar to the left. For the current themed call, see the column to the right or click here for details of the February 2014 Call for Papers. The May and November issues each year are edited by the editorial team and are general issues with an ongoing open call for papers (see Submissions).

For details on how to submit to a guest-edited themed issue, please consult the relevant call for papers. To submit to a general issue, please go to How to Submit.

Convergence adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy for its research articles, in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties. All manuscripts are reviewed initially by the Editors and only those papers that meet the editorial standards of the journal, and fit within the aims and scope of the journal, will be sent for outside review. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two referees.

Copyright on articles published in Convergence rests with SAGE Publishing. Permission to reprint articles must be gained from the publishers. Such requests can be directed through the editors at
